Chris Winwood works for the BC Epilepsy Society as the Epilepsy Education & Outreach Worker (Prince George).
Chris is a graduate of the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), an adventurer and a person living with epilepsy.
In a video by the BC Epilepsy Society, Chris tells the story of his journey with epilepsy and the path that he took that led him to complete a charity bike ride for epilepsy. Chris was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 21 and his life changed drastically. One thing remained the same: his love for outdoor adventure. Chris pushed past his diagnosis and fearlessly completed a charity bike ride that raised funds for the BC Epilepsy Society and promoted epilepsy awareness in his community.
